Cub Scout Pack 89

The Pack 89 Brat Sale for 2010 will be Saturday, June 19 from 9am – 3pm at Heiser’s Hardware in Platteville.  If you are able to help during this time or would like to provide baked goods, please let Chris know (608-315-0042).  If you are unable to help, please encourage family & friends to support this fundraiser.  All money made from the sale will go to help fund the scout program.

The new Bear Scouts had an activity where they were sharing their favorite things. Their thoughts are below:

• Jase – Earning badges, making the car, and going to the police station.
• Sam – All of the field trips, earning badges, flag ceremony, and guest speakers.
• Josh – Everything!
• Kaelin – Racing boats, pinewood derby, racing the frog, and sledding.
• Aiden – Pinewood derby, food, airplanes, sledding, and hot coco.
• Michael – Cross over, pinewood derby, boat race, visit the firehouse, police station, and sledding.
• Michaeleen – Pinewood derby, boats, green house, my grandpa coming to talk about Effigy Mounds, airplanes, sledding, bb guns at Day Camp.
• Drake – Racing the boats and cars, and racing the frogs.

The Tigers will be going on a hike on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 6pm at Moundview Park. Please wear you Pack t-shirts for this.

The first Tiger Cub Den Meeting for the 2009-2010 school year will be held on Monday, August 31, 2009 at the United Methodist Church from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. Please call Chris at 348-4552 if you have any questions.

The last summer activity for Pack 89 is the family picnic held at Legion Field. It will be August 20, 2009 from 6 – 8 (ish). Please bring a dish to pass, your table service, and drinks. We will have a water activity of some kind.

Please wear the Pack 89 class B uniform (a.k.a. Pack 89 t-shirts). If you do not have your class B uniform yet, you can pick it up that evening.
